linen price increase…

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to begrudgingly increase the prices of our linens. Simon, the owner, has negotiated over the past month or more with our linen mills to get the best possible prices at this point in time.

The increase popularity in linen over the world has driven up the price of flax yarn. To put this into perspective linen prices have increased 40% in the last 12 months and the Aussie dollar has dropped. We have tried our best to not raise the prices retail level so we can offer affordable fabric to home sewers, but unfortunately we cannot anymore. Hopefully in the future the prices will decrease and we can lower our prices again.

These prices will come into effect 27th of May 2019.

So if you have been wondering about buying our linen for a while, before the 20th of May would be the best time to buy…
